Coastal Real estate academy llc - School FAQ's

CRA Real Estate School FAQs

This page is filled with FAQs to help you get enrolled our in-person instructor-led course.  Please read each section carefully as there a two steps required for you to enroll.

**Note: If you are interested in taking the self-paced online course, please click here.

Requirements to get your Georgia Real Estate license

To get your Georgia Real Estate License, you must be at least 18 years old, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and pass a background check with no disqualifying criminal history. You’ll need to complete a 75-hour pre-licensing course approved by the Georgia Real Estate Commission, pass the course exam, and then pass the state licensing exam. Once you do, you can apply for your license and start your real estate career in Georgia.

Georgia Real Estate Course Requirements

The Georgia Real Estate Commission requires all prospective licensees to complete 75 hours of approved pre-licensing education before becoming eligible to sit for the Georgia real estate licensing exam.

To successfully complete the course:

  • You may have one excused absence.

  • If you miss more than one class session, you may be required to retake part or all of the course, in accordance with state guidelines.

Technology Requirements (Weather Contingency)

While this is an in-person course, Georgia weather can be unpredictable—especially during the summer months. In the event that we must temporarily move a class online due to inclement weather, students will need:

  • A computer with reliable internet access

  • A working camera

  • A microphone

These tools are not required for regular in-person attendance, but having access to them ensures you can continue your coursework without interruption if remote instruction becomes necessary.

Class Times & Course Length

Classes are held on Monday's and Thursday's from 6pm to 10pm. The entire 75-hour course runs a total of 10-weeks. A complete class schedule will be available for download upon your enrollment.

Tuition, Text Book & Exams

The tuition for the course includes the cost of your textbook. When you register, you will be required to enter your shipping address for the delivery of your textbook. Upon completion of the 75-hour course you must take the state real estate licensing exam. Your tuition does not include the proctoring for the state exam. However, it meets the legal requirements for your eligibility to sit for the official State Licensing Exam, the first step in becoming a real estate agent.
